Toledo, Ohio, February 27, 2023 – The inaugural “Activate Innovate Conference” is set to take place in Toledo, Ohio, on Thursday, June 13th, 2024 at the Jefferson Center in Uptown Toledo.
The event promises to connect emerging enterprises and corporate innovators through a one-day conference that brings the best of world-class corporate innovation summits to the Glass City.
This groundbreaking event, sponsored by RGP, JobsOhio and Destination Toledo will redefine corporate innovation by bringing together business leaders, emerging enterprises and visionaries for a dynamic one-day conference. The event is strategically designed to serve as a powerful catalyst, igniting connections between corporate leaders and startups ready to help them innovate.
The event will take place at Toledo’s Jefferson Center, the newly designed innovation hub currently owned by Toledo Innovation Center LLC and will run from 8:30am to 5:00pm. There will also be an invitation only VIP After Party, available for invited supporters and corporate sponsors.

Organized under the guidance of a dynamic steering committee composed of influential local technology and innovation champions, including Keith Instone from Dexterity UX, Michael Saleh from JumpStart, Meg Adams from RGP, Jon Hawker from twineIT, Laura Glover from NorthStar BlueSCOPE Steel, and Brandy Alexander-Wimberly from TandemTide, the Activate Innovate Conference promises to ignite inspiration and facilitate meaningful networking opportunities for all participants.
Confirmed speakers for the conference include Robert Sprague, Treasurer of the State of Ohio; Ted Souder, one of Google's earliest employees and a Toledo native; Adam Levine CEO at Toledo Museum of Art; and Scott Colosimo, CEO and Founder of LAND Energy, an electric motorbike company based in Cleveland.
